UIQ Font - A UIQ Symbian font application
allowing the user to see which fonts are installed on the device,
and allowing the user to adjust font specifications to see how the
changes affect the font.

Some of the pain that Symbian UIQ developers have or are going through is
that most of the example projects that were included with the UIQ
2.1 SDK were not
ported to UIQ. I am in the process of porting most of projects
that need to be ported over to UIQ. I have started with the Image
Converter example. This uses the Symbian image conversion
utility functions.
My first cut at this port is complete. You can find notes
of the changes and source code to download.

In September 2004, I was sent on a business trip to Sony Ericsson to
investigate an issue regarding my software on the P910's Orange ROM
and the behavior when the device in initially started up. I
learned a lot about the internal behavior of the device and what a
recognizer that starts an executable needs to take into account when
install on the ROM.

I
have compiled a listing of useful Symbian related links. This
list is not meant to be exhaustive, but more of a list of useful
developer-related links. Please e-mail if you feel that I am
missing a useful Symbian link.
